PHILOSOPHY

The more time I spend on my research, the more I come to realize that there is still so much to discover in the fascinating world of flavors. My work is always leading me in new directions. A further challenge for me was exploring individual flavors in greater depth and discovering what effects each has on our body and mind. For this purpose, I have extensively studied a variety of different flavors. While working with these basic building blocks, I made an interesting discovery:

DISCOVERY

Aside from enjoying the pure taste experience, each flavor I tested had an additional effect on me. Over the months of testing, one observation kept on repeating itself, time after time.

Vaping fruit flavors gave me energy, strength and an invigorating feeling.

Thanks to this effect, I noticed an additional level of pleasure. The connections that trigger these reactions have their origin in psychology and biology.

EXPLANATION

In the course of evolution, our body has learned to associate certain tastes with certain effects. When eating fruit, our bodies are supplied with a variety of important vitamins and minerals. We therefore associate their taste with a positive effect.

In this process, our taste buds register the substances in the fruits,

which are then transmitted to the brain as electrical signals. Through the subsequent brain impulses sent out to the body, we feel a kind of energetic excitement, which is brought on, for instance, in anticipation of the minerals.

Naturally, the body doesn’t receive any minerals when vaping. Nevertheless, the fruit flavors still create this anticipatory effect. Such mechanisms impart an additional dimension to our enjoyment when vaping, which goes beyond the mere perception of taste.

I was so fascinated by this phenomenon that it became the central part of my research. I wanted to find out how far this effect could be tapped and ultimately decided to work exclusively with natural flavors.

NATURAL
FLAVORS

Natural flavors do not have overly intense flavor nuances, making them relatively mild and puristic. This way, they most authentically reflect the taste of their natural counterparts. They are obtained through extraction or distillation of a large number of complex and rare natural substances that come from the most remote corners of the world.

As their production is both extremely time-consuming and costly, natural flavors are usually only processed in small quantities. Their taste can vary, depending on the season, harvest time and climate. This limits each batch of a natural flavor.
